Beautiful women exude confidence as skincare brand LUX launches new product at The Munro Boutique Ho
WITH its rich African heritage and powerful ethos that all women are #MoreThanYouCanSee, iconic luxury bath brand, LUX, officially launched an additional beauty bar to its stable this week: LUX Even Tone. More than just a soap, LUX Even Tone polishes and illuminates your skin with its beaded creamy texture while locking in moisture, giving you even more reason to celebrate the seen – and the unseen – in you.
A suave affair at the Munro Boutique Hotel in Houghton, the launch of the new Lux Even Tone bar was orchestrated to be a feast for the senses. From the food to the décor, guests handpicking flowers to create floral wreaths, an apothecary session with fine fragrances lead by a Unilever Research and Development specialist, an iconic LUX bath scene – and even more – guests were treated to the ultimate LUX brand experience.
Iconic former face of the brand, Basetsana Kumalo, as well the incredible current face of the brand, Nandi Madida, were both in attendance at the launch. They were accompanied by eight of the country’s most well-known beauty and fashion content creators: Nadia Jaftha, Aqeelah Harron-Ally, Tshego Manche, Zola Myeza, Crystal Kasper, Palesa Mahlaba, Lerato Seuoe and Kgosi Modisane – the latter two recently added to the league of extraordinary LUX ambassadors. Other guests included Somizi Mhlongo, Michelle Mosalakae, and Tumi Voster as the MC for the day.

The new LUX Even Tone variant contains purifying clay, vitamin B3 and fragrance – three powerful ingredients that when combined, leaves you with visibly glowing and radiant skin. The clay particles within LUX Even Tone gently exfoliate the skin, leaving it evenly toned, polished and silky smooth; Vitamin B3 helps restore uneven skin tone and dullness of skin, while also gently reversing the effect of blemishes on skin; and the extracts of white lily contained within the formulation enhances the fragrance delivery of fruity-floral woody notes, which leaves the most invigorating scent on one’s skin for hours.
“LUX Even Tone, like all our beauty bars, contains fragrances developed by some of the world’s finest perfumers.
